Recognizing the major involvement of eBiz in the development and implementation of biosecurity programs in Canadian agriculture, NSF-CMi Certification Ltd. of Oxford, U.K. has selected eBiz as the licensee in Canada for their RiscoGen system. The RiscoGen system has provided facility-based data for benchmarking individual farm and sector-wide biosecurity practices in poultry, sheep and swine, both as foundation for the development of national biosecurity standards and for the design of disease-insurance offerings for these sectors.
eBiz will continue the work previously undertaken directly by NSF-CMi, and is looking at the use of the RiscoGen system in other applications for its clients in livestock and horticulture.
