Anteroom Pilot Report Released
Three units in B.C., one in Ontario are profiled

For many poultry farms across Canada, anterooms and designated transitional areas in which farm workers and visitors can help to reduce the potential transmission of disease, are a key component of biosecurity preparedness. With heightened awareness of the potential to improve their defences, farmers are increasingly considering additions or changes to their facilities.

In a new report released recently by eBiz Professionals, the experience of four farms in two regions of the country are studied, from planning to full operation. Plans and layouts, costs, materials and accompanying protocols are recorded, evaluated and made available for others considering such facility improvements.

Anyone interested in reviewing a copy of the report should contact eBiz at info@ebpros.com. The report will also be posted on www.agbiosecurity.ca in the coming few days.
